Hi, My name is Karla Piña a Mexican girl always ready for new challenges!

 

Since young I have been attracted and passionate about arts and my past has been about self-learning about materials and techniques. I have tried a lot of art hobbies, for real!.

In the past I used to do Cosplay , it led me learn about  pattern making, sewing (my favorite hobbie) plus all kind of materials and techniques in order to be a problem solver with all the knowlage I have learn in all  those years.

 

Later that hobbie let me enter to an Special Make up and Special Effects studio for movies, series, commercials, where I used all that knowlage and learn more about new materials, molds,casts,etc.

Finally I have found my real passion, Stopmotion, specially Puppet making, because it combines everything I love, sewing,  sculpt,molds making,casts, painting, etc, literally, everything!!

Currently living in Mexico city and working as Puppet's Department Coordinator at CinemaFantasma studio
